| This was one of the products of James H. Sackett of New York City. The brand name "Magic Coloris" had been registered by John Ralya in 1877, and was probably bought out by Sackett sometime thereafter (see Magic Coloris). Sackett's "Coloris," "Hair Dye" and "Hair Renewer" were all listed for sale in 1872 and 1875 John F. Henry catalogs. This bottle is from my own collection (enter gallery).
