Koken Barber Supplies
According to Fike, Ernest E. Koken was a Druggist and Distributor of Barber Supplies at 318 Chestnut, St Louis. Koken was partners with Louis Boppert in the 1880s, and the business lasted until around 1893. Devner said Koken sold a "Quinine Hair Tonic." In 1914, this company registered the word "De Luxe" as a Trade Mark for a Hair Tonic (TM #100,354). They said they had been using the brand name since 1904. They renewed the Trade Mark in 1934.
