| Daniel Stewart was a Wholesale and Retail Druggist in Indianapolis, Indiana. He claimed to have established his business in 1840. I found him listed in Greensburgh Indiana in 1850. Starting in 1870, he was listed in Indianapolis. Stewart was born in 1824 and died in 1892. I do not know who took over the company after his death. The advertisements for hair products that I've found have all been from after his death. Products: Old Gibraltar Opal Hair Tonic Old Gibraltar Opal Shampoo There was also an Opal Egg Shampoo and other toilet preparations. The bottle with the glass stopper was probably a toilet water.
