Delluc & Co.
The 1865 New York City Directory listed Delluc & Co., as the successors to Place & Souillard, in the Pharmaceutical business. They were importing and manufacturing various preparations. They had been in the Drug business at least as early as 1844, and at least as late as 1868. According to the ad, they manufactured the "Glycerine Sans-Pareil Hair Tonic" at that time. Delluc's Hair Tonic was listed for sale in the 1875 John F. Henry, Curran & Co. catalog. They were marketing Marchand's Crisoline Hair Wash in 1881 (see Crisoline). In the 1896 and 1901 Morrison & Plummer catalogs, they listed "Eau Cydonine Hair Shampoo" and "Quinine Hair Tonic."
