Zemo was sold by the E.W. Rose Medicine Co. from around 1900 until 1956. According to Devner, The business was in Harrisburg, Ill. until 1903, then for a couple of years, it was in St Louis, and finally, in 1905, they moved to Cleveland. The word "Zemo" was registered as a Trade Mark in 1924, and they claimed that the name was in use since 1904.
