Martha Washington Hair Restorer
This product was advertised on the 1866 trade card show below. It was being sold by Simonds & Co.

I saw a variant of this bottle in the window of the old Drug Store in Columbia, California. It was a label only bottle, almost exactly like the early variant of Hall's Hair Renewer. The label said it was the product of Simonds & Co., of Fitzwilliam, N.H. The product was listed for sale in the 1872 and 1875 John F. Henry catalogs. (View enlarged)

The 1870 Detroit Review of Medicine and Pharmacy examined this preparation and found it to contain 9.8 grains of lead per fluid ounce.
