According to Odell, Martin Campbell, of Detroit, was the Proprietor of the Umatilla Indian Medicine Company, and even though a "Lyon" is embossed on all the bottles, he couldn't find any reference to him. Apparently, Martin was in business in Detroit from 1888 until at least 1907. The business was located at Campbell's home. I found the Umatilla Hair Restorer listed for sale in 1896 and 1901 Morrison & Plummer catalogs.
