Tutt's Hair Dye
Tutt's Hair Dye was for sale at least as early as 1872 and at least as late as 1901. The product was listed in both John F. Henry's and Morrison & Plummer's Drug Catalogues. Tutt's office at that time was at 35 Murray Street, in New York City. The bottle described below was part of the William E. Groves collection, which was auctioned off by Harmer Rooke Galleries in mid 1991.
