| Ellen Sophie Couch, of Fredonia, New York, registered this brand name as a trademark in 1890. The label was included with the trademark petition to show how the trademark was to be used. The picture is intended to represent tropical leaves exuding drops of liquid. There is a latin slogan at the bottom of the label: "AMAT VICTORIA CURAM." She claimed to have been selling the brand since 1885. She also said that the brand name might be embossed on the bottles. |
