Taylor's Philatheira Hair Dye/Dressing
Henry P. & William C. Taylor were Fancy Soap Manufacturers in Philadelphia from 1846 until around 1868. A pot lid from one of their products said that their business was established in 1820, but I couldn't verify this. Their business was located on Logan Street initially, and moved to North 9th around 1853. In 1857, William Taylor's Hair Dye was advertised, and in 1860, their Philatheira Hair Dye & Dressing were mentioned. In 1868, the business started to be listed as H.P. and C.R. Taylor, with Charles joining the business and William C. dropping out.
