| Charles N. Crittenton & Co., of New York City, registered this brand name as a trademark in 1906 (TM #53,844). Crittenton claimed to have been marketing the brand name since 1876. In the January, 1880 issue of the National Druggist, Crittenton ran an ad which listed both "Hill's Hair Dye," and this "Hair Revivum." This could have been the same product as Revivum Hair Restorer.
