Ragio's Celebrated Hair Tonic
William P.T. Ragio, of Nashville, Tenn., registered this brand name as a trademark in 1891. The label shown was included with the trademark petition as an example of how the trademark was used. The picture on the label was a dresser, with a bottle of the Hair Tonic, a pair of scissors, and a dressing comb setting on it in front of its mirror. Ragio claimed to have been using the brand name since 1890.

This one is particularly interesting because it claims to cure "Scurvy" as opposed to "Scurf."
