This product was made by Reeve & Co. of London. Selah R. Van Duzer of New York was partners with Reeve, and he was selling this product in the U.S. while Reeve sold the Mrs S.A. Allen's products in London. The words: "Melrose" and "Favorite Hair Restorer," as trademarks by Van Duzer in 1881 (#8167). The product label shown was included with the trademark Petition.
