| Salamon Hudes, of New York City, registered this brand name as a trademark for a "Hair Dressing" in 1900 (TM #34,817). He had just started using the brand name that year. At that time Hudes' business was located at 128 E. Houston St., and 153-157 Canal St., in New York City. I got the picture to the right from an advertisement. The ad claimed it "beautifies the Hair, purifies the scalp, stops the hair from falling out." The ad also indicated that there were two sizes of the bottle. |
