Adam Grimm was a Hairdresser in San Francisco from 1863 till past the turn of the century. He worked in Lick Bath House at 17 Montgomery Street. During the 1870-80 time frame, he ran a "Hairdressing Saloon." He moved to 43 Sutter around 1905, in the Hotel Richelieu. According to the Wilsons, during the 70s, he was joined by his son Adam Jr., and by 1876, they had bought the Bath House.
