| I. Detterer's Magic Hair Oil | ||||||
| This bottle was for sale on eBay in 2004. I found the product advertised in 1845 through 1847. David Schiller included a listing of a Detterer's Magic Hair Tonic on his list of hair bottles. That one was amber, and probably made a few years later. The only I. Detterer I could find was an Isaac Detterer, who was born in 1785 and died in 1832. Unfortunately, I didn't find a reference to his occupation. Images: Ad from 1846
