This was an early preparation of Reuben P. Hall, of Nashua, New Hampshire. According to Rick Hall, it was sold by Shepardson & Gates after 1867. The Wilsons had a picture of the "Crockett's Amygdaline" bottle and it's label in their book. The label indicated that the product was for burns, scalds, insect bites, prickly heat, chapped hands & face, and skin eruptions, in addition to being an excellent hair dressing. I found advertisements for the product in Santa Cruz, CA. in 1864 and 1865.
Image for the 3rd bottle was provided by Alan Weaver (Click 3).
