Clark's Distilled Hair Restorative
This product was advertised in Wisconsin in 1864 as shown. Cyrus G. Clark was a Druggist in New Haven, Conn. in the 1850s and 60s. In 1859, he was listed as part of Spencer & Clark, Jobbers and Retailers of Medicines & Drugs, etc. By 1864, the business was called C. G. Clark & Co.

The 1870 Detroit Review of Medicine and Pharmacy examined this preparation and found it to contain 0.11 grains of lead per fluid ounce.
