Anti-Hairine
Abraham E. Oppenheimer, of Philadelphia, registered this brand name as a Trademark in 1893 (TM #22,937). It was a preparation for removing superfluous hair. He said he had been selling the brand since 1892.

Joseph D. Oppenheimer was in the Hair Goods business in Philadelphia starting around 1874. His business address was on Market Street, starting out at #222. From 1878 until the mid 1880s, Abraham E. Oppenheimer was Managing the business, and by 1896, the business was called A. E. Oppenheimer & Bro. I'm not sure if the two were brothers, or if Joseph was Abraham's father, and there was another brother who joined later. Over the years they were in business, they usually alternated each year between calling their business "Hair" or "Fancy Goods." By 1899, they called their business "Novelties."
