This preparation was for sale at least as early as 1906 and at least as late as 1916. It was claimed to have been from Berlin, Germany. The agent in the U. S. was Alland Brothers in Boston. Fellow collector David Schiller also listed a "Professor Adler's Crown Hair Restorer"
